What we’re looking for

We are looking for individuals who love building and want to help us recreate the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks within the Minecraft game. We want people with all levels of building skills, as well as those willing, to learn new building techniques and management skills. A great Coordinator is someone who is not only able to help Imagineers complete daily build tasks, but effectively communicate management directions to the team and partner with the team to accomplish work goals.

Build Coordinators are responsible for all coordinating work for all Imagineers on a 1:1 scale build project on SparkParks. Coordinators are full-time associates who can log on and off the server without any set work hours. The workload on Coordinators can be very flexible depending on individual circumstances discussed with upper-management. Coordinators are entry level management positions for a project who may also be provided opportunities to promote into higher level positions such as Project Manager.

While Coordinators are directly responsible for building alongside the Imagineer team and communicating directly with the management team, their role will also encompass learning technical skills in management as well as guest moderation and interaction whilst on the server. Coordinators with high skill level and top performance review by upper-Management, are also given opportunities to start and work on/Manage their own projects, or new and upcoming Projects for the server. Depending on server needs and current staffing abilities, Coordinators may be allowed to pick their projects or have them assigned by upper-Management.

Responsibilities

• Completing assigned project tasks in a timely manner
• Learning the 1:1 building style
• Building 1:1 for projects for which you’re assigned
• Communicating with team members and peer management
• Learning from/giving constructive criticism to the team with Management
• Participating in professional development training
• Efficiently communicating work progress to supervisors
• Working as a part of a high functioning team of builders for projects
• Report directly to the Project Manager
• Partner with the Project Manager on assigning work and updating work tasks
• Perform audits and quality control on project work with management

Requirements

• Minimum availability of four (4) hours per week
• A discord account with a working microphone
• Must be able to speak with Management for an interview
• The ability to download Google Earth Pro
• The ability to download program files provided by management
• Basic English speaking or typing communication ability
• Complete SP Orientation & Traditions upon being hired
• Progress through management training before full promotion into this role
