Terms And Conditions

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which OneBigNation collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the OneBigNation.Net website (“Site”) and its other services (“Platforms”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by OneBigNation.

Conditional use of services

We reserve the right to remove any and all free and/or purchased abilities, commands, features, and access to OneBigNation services for any of the following reasons:

1) If these terms and conditions are not met.

2) If the provided services are abused.

3) If the rules given on the site or server or any other OneBigNation provided service is broken.

4) If the specific service is being phased out temporarily or permanently.

We reserve the right to change any of the conditions needed for removing access to any provided service. All services and information are provided as is without any warranty of any kind. You may use all provided services and materials at your own discretion.

Refund transaction Policy

A purchase is allowed a full refund within a week (7 days) of purchase on “Ranks” (Only Permanent Ranks – Refund subject to staff discretion)
To be issued a refund for temporary subscriptions (monthly & semi-annual ranks); a refund must be requested within 24 hours of purchase. Refunds for merchandise items such as T-shirts, etc.., are acceptable if the product is damaged, dysfunctional, or not to your satisfaction. For merchandise products, we offer a full refund, replacement (except shipping tax). Refunds on merchandise processed through third-party services are subject to their fees and policies. We reserve the right to withhold refunds and restrict access to our services via banishment if the proper process for requesting a refund is not adhered to. We withhold the right to deny customers a refund on a product if:

1) If these terms and conditions are not met.

2) If the provided services are abused. Or no longer available (Grandfathering in members of dissolved perks)

3) If the rules given on the site or server or any other OneBigNation provided service is broken.

4) If a refund is requested past grace period for return of purchase in full.

5) If your client is restricted access to our services by banishment or other punishment.

6) If Fraudulent payment activity or unacceptable transaction methods are used.

7) If payment is issued a chargeback by the consumer.

The term “chargeback” refers to the reversal of a credit card payment that comes directly from the bank at the request of the consumer. Chargebacks are a legal protection method against dishonest merchants but are subject to the terms of the merchant’s policies. Issuing a chargeback on any products offered for sale by our organization will result in a denial of credit and denial of return funds. All chargebacks will be disputed directly to the banking institution in question. Chargebacks will result in the termination of any held services with our organization.

Process of requesting a refund

To receive a return of funds on a product it must be eligible for a refund as stated under the “Refund transaction Policy”. Purchased products that are not eligible will not be issued a refund without exception. If a purchase meets the eligibility criteria, the customer must send an email to [email protected]; See the guidelines below.

The email must be formatted as follows and contain the following elements:

  1. Email must be sent from a valid email address capable of receiving incoming mail. From GMAIL servers &/or custom IMAP servers.
  2. The subject line of the email must state: “Requesting Refund”.
  3. The email body must specify the Minecraft- Player name that the product was purchased under. If in the case of requesting a refund on merchandise, please instead specify the full legal name of the cardholder for the purchase. (This will be your name if it is your card).
  4. Specify the transaction ID of the purchase. (Retrieve this from your payment gateway). If you are buying merchandise and do you have a transaction ID, please use your ORDER ID of the product, please note that when buying multiple products in one purchase, each product will print its own unique order ID. For full purchase refund you must specify all included order IDs.
  5. Specify the date of the purchase. (Can be found with transaction ID or order ID). This date is the date of initial purchase, NOT the date of payment processing or product shipping.
  6. Provide a brief explanation of the reason for requesting a refund. (Eg; Product doesn’t work, Product arrived broken, not satisfying, non-consensual payment, etc…)

Upon submitting a request, you will receive a response in 2-4 days. Staff will review the request and will issue a refund or exchange based on circumstances. If you are not permitted a refund it is because the staff did not see any fitting reason to issue a refund. To appeal a decision or ask further questions please reply to the email thread under your request. OneBigNation does not accept chargebacks or pausing of a transaction in place of refunds. Upon issuing a chargeback or freezing a transaction all purchased goods will be revoked and the user will be banished from using our services. (See “Refund transaction Policy” section 7A).

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to: when Users visit our site, register on the site place an order, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on our Site and Platforms. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, login credentials, social media connections.

Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.

We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Users may elect to link our services to each other or to third-party services such as social media. Please review any third-party privacy policies in the event that they authorize sharding any data with our site. As described above, we do not share or sell any information to third-party sites. We do authorize the communication of data between services owned by our organization, linking two services owned by our organization together will allow transfer of data between our internal services.

OneBigNation will never ask a minor for identification information, Minors who sign up for any services offered by our organization must do so under the consent and supervision of their guardian or an adult of legal signing age. All of these policy interactions will follow the compliance of the “Children’s internet protection act” referenced here; Children’s Internet Protection Act

Termination of Services Policy

The standing staff of OneBigNation across any of its platforms reserves the right to restrict your access to using our services as they see fit according to our network policy. Users may be restricted access to any of our services via a banishment or blacklisting for any of the following reasons:

  1. The user is in violation of Network Rules. ([LINK HERE])
  2. The user poses a threat to the safety or security of our Network/ Its Faculty/ Its Users.
  3. The user is breaking international internet safety laws. (View SR LAW).
  4. The user (if within the US or its territories) is in violation of Federal law.
  5. The user accesses our services with malintent.
  6. Other justification individually provided by the network

Almost all permanent bans are reversible through a ban appeal. Ban appeals are to be correctly formatted and submitted on the web forum for review. Head administration will consider pardoning a user based on the following criteria: Severity of infraction, Activity History/ Infraction records, situational information provided in appeals. Users who are Temporarily barred access to our services can appeal the punishment, however, it will expire automatically after the set period by the staff.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. The non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Sites, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Web browser cookies

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. A user may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

Censorship Policy

OneBigNation is certified and recognized as a “Family Friendly” network. Thus meaning any manner of expression through our services are subject to censorship for the safety and protection of the network and its users. We will use all available resources when necessary to prevent forms of expression we interpret or deem unsuitable for our community. These are recognized as, but not limited to:

  1. Hate Speech
  2. Racism
  3. Bigotry
  4. Sexism
  5. Intolerance of a religion or sexual preferences
  6. Explicit Words / inappropriate terminology
  7. Violence / Intent to harm
  8. Gossip/ Rumors/ Misinformation used to harm
  9. Advertising of unsafe content (Videos/ Pornography/ Figures/ Symbols)
  10. Sharing of personal information without consent (Names/ Phone Numbers/ Addresses/ Financial Information/ Email)
  11. Interactions deemed unsafe/ predatory

As our network is not funded by or is officially recorded as a satellite of the United States Government, we are legally allowed to censor the criteria stated above. The first US amendment is not subject to the private industry or domain which our services fall under. Should a user have a grievance with the censorship they may email administration or privately contact staff.

How we use collected information

OneBigNation collects and uses Users’ personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service – Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
  • To personalize user experience – We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
  • To improve our Site – We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To process transactions – We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To send periodic emails – The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you may contact us via our bug and tracking system.
How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a TLS SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalfs, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission. We are legally allowed and in some cases required to share user information with authorities when necessary.

Legal rights and personal information

By providing with the information you are consenting by law that we have access to said information. Should we need to provide information to our legal department or to authorities, users will be notified if possible by staff, or will receive contact from the respective legal counsel or authorities. This policy is subject to international internet safety regulations are will be enacted in the following circumstances:

  1. User is committing piracy of network resources
  2. User is forcing access to private resources
  3. User is committing Distributed Denial of Services attacks against our services (DDoS)
  4. Other illegal activities in question.

 

Changes to this privacy policy

OneBigNation has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do revise these terms and services, the date at the bottom of this page will be updated. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
